Continue right until you reach a group of stairs. Walk to the right until you see the large tiered waterfall, and pull down the platform within it. Walk up to the tree and use your flower on the tree. Climb the stairs to reach the pink flower Howling Wolves. Go to the next hotspot and turn the page again and you will reach the inside of the house. Go right to a hotspot, then turn the page. Walk up to the hole to reach an underground area. Turn over the back right lantern to reveal a hole, then turn over the middle lantern to reveal a staircase. Leave the house and go to the left to find a group of lanterns. Inside, open the door to the bottom right, then turn the page back again. Slide open the door to the house upstairs, then go up to the hotspot and turn the page. Slide the gate to the right, then turn the page. Return to the left and up the stairs, then use the crest piece on the double gates. I wouldn't count point&click adventure games as puzzles so I'm fine with Monkey Island not being in the list but the other adventures should be removed, then, too.Open the book and follow the page turning instructions, then click on the single pink flower on the tree. There are games like Grim Fandango and Machinarium on there but no Monkey Island? They are all adventures and the Monkey Island series is by far the best one ever created. I know it'll be very, very hard to narrow it down but I'd fine a short list just much more useful than this giant one which ultimately will not help me at all in choseing what I want to buy/play. I'd rather have a much shorter list of truely awesome puzzle games, those that really, really should be played by anyone even remotely into the genre. I can just as well google puzzle games or filter the steam category. If the list ends up having pretty much every semi-decent puzzle game then it ultimately serves no purpose because nobody can realistically play all those "before they die" anyway. I like the idea but I think the list is just too long. I've made a list in alphabetical order of 100 games that I could remember playing and would love some more suggestions from you guys! At first, my intention is to make a ebook or something about it and publish for free just because puzzle games deserve a lot more love than they have. ![]() ![]() I'm trying to compile a list of essential puzzle games in the style of a "X movies/Tv Shows to watch before you die". ![]()
